Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant, Certified by the Chamber of Chartered Accountants, with at least 4/5 years experience in Accountancy. Reporting to the Finance Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for the accounting of the Company in Portugal, assuring all its fiscal obligations. Good level of English is required.

Description

• Accounting, Tax & Treasury ensuring compliance with local and global guidelines;
  
• Monitor the fulfilment of Corporate and Local Policies and Procedures;
  
• Manage Entity planning and reporting;
  
• Ensure correctness of Books and Records, through international and local activities;
  
• Provide controlling activities, as budgeting and reporting;
  
• Give support to the consolidation process of the monthly financial statements;
  
• Manage the relationship with external auditors, the tax administration and legal authorities.
  

Profile

• Degree/Master in Accounting, Business Management or similar;
  
• Certified Accountant (CC);
  
• Minimum 4/5 years of experience working as an Accountant;
  
• Solid knowledge of the Portuguese accounting and taxation;
  
• Advanced MS Excel skills;
  
• Substantial level of autonomy and sense of responsibility;
  
• Excellent communication skills;
  
• Good level of English.
