At this moment, Kelly Engineering Resources is recruiting a Manufacturing Test Engineer - Active Safety, to be part of a Multinational Company, specialized in Automotive manufacturing, located in Braga.
Responsibilities and duties
* Work together with the manufacturing development team on test software, hardware, and application specific tooling for assigned product programs;
* Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical) for Automotive Electronics Active Safety Products;
* Support Project Teams for test development and product design;
* Ensure timely and thorough execution of all test development requirements in conformance with product/process development procedures and program metrics;
* Provide Engineering support in the areas of test technology and common process development;
* Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to optimize Cpk performance of parametric electrical tests.
Basic qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology;
* Proficient software development skills in one or more of the following software languages: National Instruments LabView, NI LabWindows CVI, NI TestStand, C++, C;
* Energetic, self-motivated, proactive;
* Flexible, adaptable and resourceful;
* Good oral and written communication skills;
* Able to contribute in a team environment;
* Attention to detail.
Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)
* Experience/knowledge in developing functional tests of automotive electronics products;
* Experience/knowledge of flash programming/verification product software during the manufacture of automotive electronics;
* Knowledge and experience in developing manufacturing tests of automotive electrical products;
* Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing principles;
* Knowledge and experience with manufacturing system design and safety requirements;
* Past experience with starting up new products and processes in production;
* Operations Support Experience;
* Customer Interface Experience;
* Experience working with international mfg. sites & suppliers.
