At the moment, Kelly Search & Selection is recruiting an Accountant (M/F), for a fast growing energy company, located in Vila Real.
Profile:
* Chartered Accountant (valid in Portugal);
* 4-6 years of Accountant experience;
* Solid Accounting knowledge & Tax;
* Proficient in Excel and Word;
* Experience in utilities sector would be a plus;
* Fluency in English (written and spoken);
* Navision experience;
* Strong organizational and time management skills;
* Well-organized and a self-starter;
* Detail-oriented, professional attitude.
Responsabilities:
* Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;
* Process invoices and banking payments;
* Respond to all vendor inquiries;
* Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies;
* Maintain historical records by filing documents;
* Bank reconciliations;
* Calculating and posting journals (including accruals);
* Assist in month-end closing;
* Assist in VAT filings;
* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
